Khalid Robinson, who is often known only by his first name, Khalid, is an American singer and songwriter. His full name is Khalid Donnel Robinson. He rose to fame with his first single Location, in 2016.
Khalid is a name of Arabic origins that means "eternal" or "immortal". The original Arabic pronunciation of Khalid is Kah-Leed. However, Khalid is not Muslim, nor is he of Arabic ethnicity. He was actually raised in Christian household, although he does not consider himself as religious.
Because of the confusion around how to pronounce his name, on Twitter he clarified that in his case, Khalid is pronounced as Kuh-Leed.
