La Croix

American brand of sparkling water that is also known as LaCroix and is sold in several different flavors. The brand originates from La Crosse, Wisconsin and takes its name by combining the "La" from La Crosse and the "Croix" from the St. Croix River. La Croix is not pronounced in French even if the words are French, but it is pronounced in an Americanized version, resulting in La-Croy.
