Gose

Gose is a type of warm and fermented beer from Germany. Gose is a sour beer made from malted wheat that originates in the town of Goslar, Germany. Before gaining international recognition by craft breweries, gose had a long-standing tradition, having been brewed for the first time in the 13th century.
There is often great confusion on how to pronounce gose because it is not pronounced as it is read in English. In fact, the correct pronunciation of gose in German is goes-uh. However, in -goes, the "oe" is pronounced as slightly more closed than the "oe" in the word "goes". The final "e" in gose is pronounced with an "uh" sound.
