  • Eduardo Souto de Moura - Portuguese architect, born Eduardo Elísio Machado Souto de Moura. He won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2011 
  • Paul Watzlawick - Austrian-born American psychologist and philosopher. He wrote The Situation Is Hopeless But Not Serious (The Pursuit of Unhappiness) and The Language of Change: Elements of Therapeutic Communication
